VMM TOP TUNE - VMM 10/10 - Victor Polo / El Comandante Gutierrez (Miki Hernandez Remix) - Chola Records

This is the first release I have been sent on Chola Records, and boy is it a goodie! Victor Polo presents to us; El Comandante Gutierrez, with remixes from; Mitch Major, Dani Bosco, Miki Hernandez, and Alberto Domenech, you cant go wrong with a pack this strong!

Victor Polo was born in Valencia in the summer of 1991. This young DJ began his career only in late 2010, and has already worked with some of the top guys in the house scene, like; the collective; Sinestesia from Spain, DJ/Producer Dani Bosco from Italy, and DJ Carlos Moreno, to name but a few!

Victor gives us a very deep and minimal, tribal-infused track. Lots of reverb and fx used here to make the minimal beats a little more interesting, and with a scary voice throughout, definitely one for the start of the night for me. Mitch Major do the bizz and share with us some techhouse, a nice driving rhythm, sweet, crisp drum work and with the vocal ‘Dont Stop’ repeating all through the track. A definite track for the tech house fans, and will get some play in my tribal sets too. Alberto Domenech goes for a deep house cut, and a very nice job too, keeping the ‘dont stop’ vocal, adding some nice typical deep house signature sounds, I will be playing this at after parties, and at the pool this summer!

Dani Bosco come up with another minimal mix, making use of fx again to play with the sounds, this time a deep baseline is added to the mix. Miki Hernandez gives us a fantastic tribal/tech mix, witch is my pic of the E.P. Driving from the start with lots of nice drums, and a little funky sample for good measure! Breaking it down half way thru for a little breather before driving it up again, will be on my playlist for some time!  Hola Chola!
